Overview: Richard started Oxford Kitchens in March 1979. Previously he had been fitting kitchens for other kitchen companies. He was particularly impressed with innovative German kitchen manufacturer Leicht, so when he opened Oxford Kitchens, this was his first choice of kitchen supplier. After over forty years, it still is. Richard had previously worked at Harwell Laboratories from school and then briefly at the MG car factory prior to opening Oxford Kitchens.
Richard says: “My business model has always been to ensure that the quality of the goods and the installation work is second to none and only deal with high end products. As a result, customers feel more than happy to recommend Oxford Kitchens to their friends and family.”
Overview: Nicky worked in project management before joining us. She has worked for Oxford Kitchens for over ten years and the showroom demonstrates some of her innovative ideas.
Overview: Derek has spent over 40 years in the kitchens and bathrooms industry, having joined a furniture factory from school and moving to the kitchen processing team, where he found his passion. His 25 years spent in the Miele Kitchens head office, in roles including training dealers and designing showrooms, involved daily contact with top kitchen designers around the UK. The team also were involved with prestigious contracts, such as for Premiership footballers. Several years with John Lewis & Partners gave him consistent retail design work and suited his emphasis on service.
Derek says: “After years in a corporate environment, moving to Oxford Kitchens and Bathrooms was like coming home. I am as passionate as ever about working with clients from start to finish to achieve something original that they will love.”
Overview: Julie has been working for the company for an incredible 26 strong years providing valuable support in the office and accounts departments
